I had the pleaseure of speaking at the Wine & Crime Fundraiser for the Long Island Science Center in Riverhead.
I was part of a panel discussion with some of New York’s leading crime and forensics experts including Dr. Odette Hall, Deputy Chief Medical Examiner at the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, and Danielle Gruttadaurio, Suffolk County’s only Forensic Artist whose work includes the renderings of the Gilgo Beach victims. The panel was moderated by Maggie Freleng, Producer at-Large for NPR’s Latino USA and 2019 Ford Foundation "50 Women Can Change the World in Journalism" Fellow.
Following the panel discussion, I had the opportunity to meet and mingle with the attendees at a wine reception.
